Johnatan Gonzales/Olla Cocina

Johnatan is a native of Mexico City. He moved to the US in 2004 where he began his career as a dishwasher at Los Gatos Brewing Company. His talents were soon recognized by the renowned James Stump, with who he had the privilege of working for 10 years. During his tenure with Mr. Stump, Johnatan gained experience working as a pastry chef and it was then that he realized his true passion was creating and executing savory dishes. He continued to master his techniques as Sous Chef of AP Stumps, where he continued to grow and develop his talents. Johnatan opened Olla in 2016 as a Line Cook and also dabbled in the Corporate Dining world, where he worked a second job as a Line cook at Plug and Play. Johnatan's talents were recognized in 2019 when he was promoted to Executive Chef of Olla. When Johnatan is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and preparing meals at home. One of his favorite dishes to create for his family is Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo.
