Tavo Gomez was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. His mother was the inspiration to devote himself into cooking. One of his favorite foods is mole, due to the multiple ingredients it contains and the multiple flavors it combines; its mix makes the flavor unique. The ingredients that Tavo could not live without are tomato, garlic, onion and beer. He's the Chef of Mezcal Restaurant in downtown San Jose that offers the most traditional oaxacan dishes and the best mezcales.
